Science Center Orlando is an interactive museum with many exhibits and experiments that allow visitors to the museum to get acquainted with various areas of science and technology in a fascinating and diverse way.
Most exhibits at Science Center Orlando allow you to “touch and feel” science, which is especially popular with younger visitors to the museum, and to personally participate in scientific experiments, which helps to get acquainted with science in a fascinating and detailed way. The Science Center Museum regularly holds educational thematic programs for children and adults of different ages from 1.5 years and older.
Science Center Orlando is divided into several zones, each of which allows you to get acquainted with different scientific fields and technical innovations.
- NatureWorks hall introduces nature, its laws, ecosystems, interactions of living and inanimate nature
- KidsTown hall — a science town with interactive exhibits and visual scientific experiments
- Kinetic hall demonstrates the main forces of nature and their actions
- Engineer It! the hall presents engineering and technological achievements
- the Fusion hall explains the unifying principle of art and technology, the exposition of the hall is constantly updated
- DinoDigs hall-exhibition of fossil remains of ancient reptiles dinosaurs and sea creatures
- in the Our Planet hall you can learn a lot of interesting things about Planet Earth, its place in our Solar System and the Galaxy as a whole, see pictures directly from the NASA Hubble Space Telescope
- The Crosby Observatory on the top sixth floor of the museum building invites everyone to feel like an astronomer and look at the Sun through a professional telescope, get acquainted with the Solar System. The observatory invites every first Saturday of the month from 15:00 to 17:00, weather permitting.
The Science Centre has two modernly equipped cinemas for showing educational films and new cinema releases, a hall (4600 m2) for performances, private events and exhibitions.
