Shield parquet production technology
The strength of the shield parquet depends to a greater extent on the wood breed, which is used as the upper layer. Since the shield parquet does not require restoration and cycle, special attention should be paid to its stability to the appearance of scratches.
Already at the stage of production of the parquet, from 5 to 9 layers of varnish or mixtures of olifa with paraffin are applied to its surface, and in most cases they are also fixed by means of ultraviolet rays.
The mechanical application of the protective layer provides uniform distribution over the surface. Since the tree has the property of slightly deformed, the protective layers should be elastic. However, the surface strength can be provided by adding ceramic crumbs or similar material to the varnish.
