How the foundation for the bath is poured: Technical requirements
Build a sand-gravel pillow. The thickness of the pillow should be at least 10 cm, compact the pillow well. We will lay the function of stiffener ribs on the armature. Take reinforcement with as much seriousness as possible, because the strength of your future bath depends on it. The reinforcement should be with a cross-section of 12mm, the depth of laying the reinforcement from the bottom should be 5-10 cm.
The reinforcement is laid on driven reinforcing rods and use a machine for bending reinforcement for bending. As a result, you should get a square frame with crossbars at a distance of 40 cm. Do not forget that the foundation must be poured not only under the walls, but also under the stove. Now let’s move on to the formwork. For formwork, you can use either a rubberized board 25mm or a plywood with a thickness of 10 mm.
