Technical features and properties of laminate
For flooring from the cork, there are the same requirements for stability to scratches, abrasion and surface strength, as in the shield floors. Nevertheless, varnishes used to process cork coating are more elastic, since the cork is quite soft and suppressed.
Depending on the value of the floors from the laminate, they have a different base and moisture resistance base. On top of the base of the laminate, a wear -resistant, resistant layer is applied. In this case, it means a varnish film, which is applied over decorative paper impregnated with melamine resin, and then pressed. Quality and wear resistance is determined precisely by this transparent layer.
The laminate with the operating class 21-23 is intended for residential premises, classes 31-33 can be used in public places, commercial premises with an intensive human stream. Abrasion classes (AC3-AC5) are differentiated in a similar way.
